Chase Away the Winter Blues!

The Westford Academy Athletic Boosters Club is hosting " Chase the Winter Blues Away” .. an evening of  music, great friends and good food" to " on Saturday, February 2^nd at the Chelmsford Elks on Rt. 110 in Chelmsford.   All are welcome!   Anyone who needs a reason to get out of the house and enjoy a fun evening with friends should plan on joining us!!   

Well known and wildly popular, DJ John Kelly will be providing the music for the event and the evening will run from 7:30 - 11:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 each.  Thanks to all of the Westford Academy winter teams, a silent auction table will be filled with interesting and fun baskets waiting for your bids!  If you’d prefer, participate in our raffle and drop your raffle tickets into the drawing basket for the item that your heart desires!  


Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis (only 200 tickets can be sold) at Westford Academy on Friday evenings at the Varsity Basketball games, or you can purchase them from a Booster member, or by emailing Sue at SMHanly@earthlink.net or Julie at WABoosters@msn.com. 

All proceeds will benefit the WA Athletic Boosters, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides scholarships to graduating senior athletes (33 in June of 2012), hosts the annual Senior Athletic Banquet, purchases all athletic banners,
letters & pins, and purchases needed athletic equipment that is not covered under the athletic director's budget.  (please see www.westford.com/waboosters
for more information.)  Each and every sports team at Westford Academy has benefited from WA Athletic Booster money during the last several years.
