National Drug Take Back Day

Date:   Sat., Sept. 29

Time:  10 a.m.-2 p.m. 

Place:  Police Station Lobby, accessible from Town Hall parking lot, 55 Main St.

This is a great time to clean out those medicine cabinets and get rid of expired presciption and over the counter medications.

The Health Dept. will also accept, from Westford residents only, "sharps" (used syringes, needles, and lancets). Please ensure that all sharps are brought in a puncture proof container (such as a detergent bottle) and placed in the smallest containers possible. This will help minimize costs associated with disposal.
