EPOCH Senior Living has named Maura Ferrigno executive director of Bridges by EPOCH at Westford, a 48-suite memory care assisted living community being built at 108 Littleton Road. Bridges by EPOCH at Westford will open this spring.

Ferrigno has more than 20 years of experience in management, business development and leadership in the service industry, including 10 years’ experience as executive director of senior living communities.  Most recently, she was executive director of RiverCourt Residences in Groton, Mass. She holds an M.S. in management from Lesley College and a B.S. in human development and family relations from the University of Connecticut.

Bridges by EPOCH at Westford will include 48 apartments to meet the increased needs of individuals with memory impairment in a supportive and structured residential environment.  When open, EPOCH will hire 40 to 50 employees.

Bridges by EPOCH at Westford will be the second freestanding memory care community of its kind in the area. EPOCH opened a Bridges community in Hingham in June 2012.
