AT&T's Super Bowl APP-etizers

Super Bowl Sunday is a day everyone enjoys getting together to watch the big game, whether they’re true pigskin fanatics or they think “quarterback” means getting change at the coffee shop. To help football flunkies and football junkies alike get the most out of the big game, AT&T has compiled a list of the best apps for game day.
 
•  In the Kitchen: Tailgating Recipes
Super Bowl Sunday always means super-sized everything and an unlimited supply of food. Just in time for the big day, the application features football foods to fill your friends’ stomachs whether you’re hosting a party or need to bring an appetizer to one. A few of the goodies on their list include Bacon, Tomato and Cheese Dip, Beer Cheese Dip, Quarterback Blitz Bars, Baked Pecan-Chicken Wings, Fried Chicken Fingers with Come Back Sauce, Kick-Off Kabobs and Quarterback Quesadillas. It also includes easy, low-carb recipes for partygoers who don’t want to look like offensive linemen after the game.

Haven’t really followed the NFL this season, but don’t want to be out of the loop at your friends’ Super Bowl party? Brush up on the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers before the big game bydownloading their official apps to learn about the players and coaches and their roads to the Super Bowl.

Don’t just watch the Super Bowl, compete in it! Well, sort of … This iOS app makes the game more fun for everyone at your party. Just download the app and invite your guests to play via email. Before kickoff, guests will answer 20 questions such as “How long will the National Anthem be?” As the Super Bowl progresses, guests will earn points for every correct answer. Track the score on the app’s football field, and a winner will  be crowned when the when the confetti starts flying in New Orleans. Just make sure there’s no Gatorade around unless you want to clean up the mess!

And if you can’t stomach football anymore, pitchers and catchers report for the Boston Red Sox in just over a week, on Feb. 10.
